Three ways into the programme

Top Young 100 brings together companies, students and universities. Pick your side — each one enters differently.

  • For companies

Set the challenge, meet the people

A real problem from your company goes to a team of pre-selected students, led by your own manager. For a year you watch how they work.

    • A project on your data, not a textbook exercise
    • Hiring without a CV — you see candidates in action
    • Brand presence across 39 universities
    For companies
  • For students

    Enter through your university

There is no open application form. A partner university recommends you, and two assessment stages decide the rest.

    • A year-long project for a real company, not a case study
    • A mentor from business and training along the way
    • A certificate and contact with 78 partner companies
    The student path
  • For universities

Join a network of 39 institutions

You nominate your best students, we give them a company challenge and mentoring. Your tutor follows their progress all year.

    • Recommendations stay with the faculty, not an algorithm
    • Real implementations on your students’ record
    • Direct contact with supply chain employers
    University partnership

Who gets into the programme

There is no open call for applications. Candidates are put forward by faculty tutors at their universities — nobody knows the students better than the people who teach them.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is Top Young 100?

A year-long programme in which a team of pre-selected students works on a real challenge from a partner company, led by a manager from that company. It has run since 2017, and since 2026 it is run by the Top Young 100 Foundation.

Who can take part?

Students nominated by partner universities, companies that set a challenge, and universities that want to join the network. Each group has its own section on this site with the conditions for entry.

How long does one edition last?

A year. It opens with a kick-off workshop and closes with a presentation of results and a recommendation to implement. In between, teams work in sprints with regular progress reviews.

Does participation cost anything?

Students and universities pay nothing — the programme is funded by partner companies, which in return get a project and access to candidates. Partnership packages and prices are described on the page for companies.

How do I verify a graduate certificate?

Every certificate carries a number you can check on this site — type it into the certificate lookup above. A document nobody can confirm is worth nothing.
