A hundred places a year.
The way in runs through your university

There is no open form. Partner universities nominate candidates, and two assessment stages decide the rest. If you get through, you spend a year on a real company challenge.

What the programme gives you

A year that reads differently on a CV than another student society.

  • A project for a real company

Not a textbook case. You work on a partner’s data, and your recommendation reaches the people who make decisions.

  • A mentor from business

The team is led by a manager from the partner company. You learn how this industry actually works, from someone who does it daily.

  • Training during the edition

Workshops run by practitioners: project management, data analysis, presenting results to a board.

  • A certificate and contacts

You finish with a certificate an employer can verify on this site, and knowing people from 78 partner companies.

How to get in

Three stages. The first depends on your university, the next two on you.

  1. Stage 1

    University nomination

Your faculty submits candidates for the edition. Ask your course tutor or the careers office about Top Young 100 — this is the only way in.

  2. Stage 2

    Group session

A team exercise where we look at how you work with people, not at how much of the lecture you remember.

  3. Stage 3

    Interview

A short conversation about motivation and what you are looking for. You get the decision before the edition starts.

  4. Then

    A year in the programme

Kick-off workshop, team work on the company challenge, progress reviews and a final presentation of the results.

A participant’s voice

„From the beginning of the 5th edition of Top Young 100, I felt that I was in the right place. I feel that my active participation in challenges, training and mentoring will improve my competences, and I will create my professional career with greater confidence and knowledge.”
Magdalena KarpińskaParticipant of the 5th edition, Poznań University of Economics

Questions from students

Can I apply on my own, without my university?

No. Only partner universities nominate candidates. If yours is not on the list, mention the programme at your careers office — universities join the network every edition.

Which year of study can apply?

The programme targets students in their final years, usually from the third year onwards. The exact criteria are set by the nominating university.

Do participants pay?

No. Participation is free — the programme is funded by partner companies.

How long does it take?

A year, following the edition calendar. Team work is mostly remote, with a few in-person meetings along the way.

Does the programme guarantee a job?

It does not guarantee one, but it puts you in front of companies that are hiring. Partner job offers are available to participants and alumni after signing in.
